LIGHTLIFE SMART DELI VEGGIE BOLOGNA is another one of those diet foods that satisfies your ‘not really hungry’ urge to consume. Four slices = only 70 calories and 1 gram of fat, making it a perfect ‘go to refrigerator’ food choice when without realizing it you’re at the door wondering what you can have that won’t throw your stats off for the day.
Steve wanted high fat, and I wanted to provide it without indulging beyond a taster portion, which I did. Every now and then you’ll want to get off the low-fat train to take a rest. Plus for me, who develops animal-free recipes, I want to be able to continue to develop the high end, ‘eat once in a while’ dishes that we all love without going overboard on consumption. Since I discovered that the less fat I eat the less I want and the easier it is to say no to more, I succeeded at something positive here – for me, maybe not for everybody else.
Eating a higher fat meal occasionally tells your brain to relax, you’re not starving yourself on this diet.
