Stop Hedging

I’m giving myself choices.

I’m not one for eating the same breakfast, lunch or dinner every day.

Lots of people are and that’s fine for them. I’m just as happy with leftovers from the night before as someone else is with their oatmeal done the same way every day.

I’m not even big on breakfast food, though clearly most of the people in my immediate world are.

Don’t be penned in by your own historical choices based on what everyone else was eating or told you to eat. 

Eat what you want, when you want, just keep portion sizes small for the unhealthier stuff, so you can splurge with the healthier stuff.

And stay clear of the animal. You have no idea what that poor animal has been force fed, and forced to endure, leading to all kinds of chaotic changes in their chemistry, behaviors and immune systems that we’re then forced to eat to salvage tradition.

The only way to make a bad day go away is to alter course now. Why keep it bad till tomorrow?
