MANGO KRAUT BEANS
Bourbon beans with mango, roasted pepper and green beans. Ops, almost forgot the sauerkraut. What a pairing! All the way around spells success! And it’s fat-free! Sink your teeth into that one. The chew alone is worth the effort.
Makes 7 cups
22 oz. can BUSH’S GRILLIN’ BEANS Bourbon And Brown Sugar flavor
14 oz. can sauerkraut- I used FRANK’S SWEET BAVARIAN KRAUT
6 c. froz. cut green beans
1 fresh ripe yellow mango, peeled – slice from end to end down to the seed, then cut into squares/cubes
12 oz. jar sweet red roasted peppers, including liquid, diced into 1/2 inch squares
fresh grind black pepper
1- In large saucepan combine all ingredients. Stir to disperse evenly.
2- Cook, stirring as needed, till green beans are thawed and hot.
3- Reduce heat to low, partially cover, and cook about 10 minutes or till done to your liking.
4- Salt and pepper to taste and serve.
