If you're too fat, you'll lose weight here; if you're too thin you'll gain weight here. That's the balance Chef Davies-Tight, an animal-freer, seeks and finds along with the sublime in all of it. Chef Davies-Tight experiments with popular weight loss methods to develop her own. WHY can wait!
How to lower calories in bottled dressing? Simply add vinegar.
I use Balsamic vinegar that has no calories and add about a third of a whole bottle, shake and use. I usually wait till the bottle is a third gone, but I could just as easily pour it into a bowl, add the vinegar, then pour it into a larger bottle.
Steve always just added the vinegar directly to the salad on top of the bottled dressing. But I like to mix it for an even dressing experience. He likes it too. The dressings are thick enough originally to withstand the added vinegar, whereby it doesn’t thin them too much.
Even in fat-free dressing, I now add the vinegar to reduce the calorie count even lower.
